Last week, CEO of IPSA members Night Time Industries Association (NTIA), Michael Kill, represented the NTIA in Shanghai, joining an international delegation focused on the growth and future of the Night Time Economy.
Across five days, Michael met with government representatives, industry leaders, academics and global partners to explore how cities are using data, technology and innovation to support safer, stronger and more sustainable night time economies.
A key moment was visiting Fudan University’s Data Lab, where the delegation discussed how advanced insight and analysis can help inform policy, commerce and city planning.
Shanghai offered a powerful example of what can be achieved when culture, infrastructure and technology are aligned.
These conversations are helping the NTIA strengthen international relationships and bring fresh thinking back to the UK sector.
