The Inclusion Imperative
The Inclusion Imperative is a boutique culture transformation and leadership development consultancy, certified as a Diverse Supplier by Canada’s Queer Chamber of Commerce (CQCC).
Through consulting assignments, Learning & Development (L&D) workshops, and keynote speaking engagements, it helps create workplaces which, by leveraging the power and value of inclusion, are more effective, productive and robust.
The approach taken by its Founder and CEO, Geffrye Parsons (he/him), is heavily informed by a prior 35-year career as a gay, client-facing front-line executive with international financial and professional services organisations all around the world.
This executive experience – combined with his MBA in International Management, his record as a LinkedIn ‘Top Voice’ for each of leadership, culture change and executive management, and his experience of chairing an award-winning LGBTQ+ employee resource group (ERG) – allows him to shape theory into practical, real-world approach. It also emphasises the importance both of aligning inclusion initiatives with strategic priorities of the organization, and of translating theory into practice for those in leadership roles.
Apart from LinkedIn, Geff’s inclusion work has been recognized by accolades from the Pride Power List, British LGBT Awards, PinkNews Awards and Stonewall, and he has been designated a LinkedIn ‘Top Voice’ for both Leadership and Culture Change. He also holds several fractional Board-level roles with not-for-profit organisations working to advance rights and inclusion.
