Founding (as Industrial Police Association)
IPSA was formed in the late 1950s (often recorded as 1958) originally to represent industrial police/security services and to raise professionalism in security operations.


Formalising training & regional structure
IPSA developed training streams for front-line roles (officers, installers, fire technicians), built a regional framework and engaged with other industry bodies.


MoU with Qatar International Centre for Safety & Security
IPSA signed a formal agreement with QICSS in Doha enabling graduates to receive IPSA membership and strengthening international training.


Free membership push for frontline workers & continued partnerships
IPSA emphasised free membership for front-line workers, expanded online presence, partnerships and training discounts; membership reported in thousands.
